Head Collars - Benefits?

 I am a sample of 1 dog and owner.  Not exactly a well constructed study.  That said, here are the benefits I have noticed with our Golden Retriever when he is wearing the Halti Head collar:

1. He pulls less.  
2. When he does pull, he doesn't pull as hard.
3. He is calmer when wearing the head collar.  
4. He picks up 10% of the rocks, bits of kleenex and sticks that he normally tries to bring home.

 Caution:

• This collar turns his head when he pulls.  Do not use this collar on a long line because if he gets up to speed and hits the end of the leash, he could damage his neck.
